Anne is a Registered Psychologist who trained in psychology at the University of Auckland. Anne spent ten years working in child and family psychology with a wide range of presenting problems: supporting families through separation issues; assertive parenting; promoting learning and developmental outcomes for children and adolescents.

In the last seven years Anne has been in private practice in Dunedin changing her emphasis to working largely with adults presenting with a range of issues (depression/anxiety/grief/abuse and trauma/relationship issues/chronic pain ) and undertaking work for the Family Court, ACC Sensitive Claims and other agencies.

Anne provides clinical services to an Employee Assistance Programme and is skilled in targeted resolution of workplace issues such as bullying, burnout and coping with difficulties in relationships with colleagues and managers.

Anne also coaches individuals through a career decision-making process where individuals feel they need to re-evaluate career and life directions. Anne guides clients through a structured process to gather information about themselves (interests & preferences as it relates to job, work culture, workstyle and work-personal life interface) to develop a career profile that drives the gathering of information and reality testing of the job market.

Anne’s therapy is grounded in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, but with consideration for an individual’s strengths, interests, culture and general life goals.
